My Approach

Great video starts before the shoot.

My whole philosophy in video production is that the success of a video is determined long before the camera rolls.

Sounds cliché, but it's 100% true: the people you choose to pre-produce, shoot, appear in, and edit your videos are everything. I can control all of the first two and the last one, and I can influence much of the third. That's why I'm meticulous about staffing. The right crew creates great video. The wrong crew creates expensive problems.

I personally choose the crew for every project. I know which cinematographers (I call them that because they aren't just "shooters"—they're making cinema) I can send out on their own, which I pair with trusted collaborators, and which projects require me to be on set as Director and Producer. Every project is different, and every crew is built intentionally.

I don't just build talented crews—I build compatible crews. I build crews that edit, crews that communicate well, and crews that understand the story we're trying to tell. The fewer hands on a project, the better. Fewer handoffs mean fewer opportunities for miscommunication and a stronger connection between what happened on set and what ends up on screen.

Video production should feel exciting, not stressful. My job is to assemble the right people, manage the details, and create an environment where great stories can emerge naturally. Your job is to be the expert in your organization. I'll handle the production.

How the process works:

Discovery
We learn about your brand so we can tell your story – from the inside out.
Production Design
This is pre-production: meticulously planning every detail of a shoot before we arrive on-set.
Production
Where the magic happens. A film set - or a podcast or animation studio - is where spontaneous creativity meets precise planning.
Post-Production
When the shoot works, the edit works.

A polished first draft plus your skilled feedback = final cut.

Yes. I work with clients throughout the United States and can provide straightforward, flat-rate pricing for most projects located within two hours of a major U.S. airport. Can you work with our internal marketing team?

Yes. Some clients hire us to handle everything from concept through delivery, while others bring us in as a production partner alongside their internal marketing or communications teams. Either way, we add value and capacity to your existing team.

Do you provide photography too?

Yes. Many clients combine photo and video coverage into a single production, creating a more efficient process and a larger library of content from the same shoot. Looking for simply photography – visit this page.

What if we're not sure what kind of video we need?

That's completely normal. Most clients come to us with a goal, not a shot list. We'll help you determine the right story, format, length and distribution strategy before production begins.
