Great video starts before the shoot.
My whole philosophy in video production is that the success of a video is determined long before the camera rolls.
Sounds cliché, but it's 100% true: the people you choose to pre-produce, shoot, appear in, and edit your videos are everything. I can control all of the first two and the last one, and I can influence much of the third. That's why I'm meticulous about staffing. The right crew creates great video. The wrong crew creates expensive problems.
I personally choose the crew for every project. I know which cinematographers (I call them that because they aren't just "shooters"—they're making cinema) I can send out on their own, which I pair with trusted collaborators, and which projects require me to be on set as Director and Producer. Every project is different, and every crew is built intentionally.
I don't just build talented crews—I build compatible crews. I build crews that edit, crews that communicate well, and crews that understand the story we're trying to tell. The fewer hands on a project, the better. Fewer handoffs mean fewer opportunities for miscommunication and a stronger connection between what happened on set and what ends up on screen.
Video production should feel exciting, not stressful. My job is to assemble the right people, manage the details, and create an environment where great stories can emerge naturally. Your job is to be the expert in your organization. I'll handle the production.
“FLOW was incredible. We gave the team very short notice and a number of seemingly difficult hoops to jump through and they went over and above and beyond on everything. Super professional, great technical skills, and overall just lovely people. I'd absolutely use FLOW again.”
“Really enjoyed working with everyone. It was a seamless process. We have received very positive feedback on the videos!”
“Flow did a terrific job helping us refine the narrative we wanted to capture through video. They delivered a product that properly encapsulates the spirit and purpose of our organization.”
“The final video surpassed my exceedingly high expectations.”
“Instead of just working for us, they’ve made it evident that they care for our cause.”
“I just watched our video twice and am holding back my tears. It makes me so proud.”
“I really felt attended to. I am confident this event would not have gone off as seamlessly without your careful attention to detail.”
“Everybody loved the video! One board member cried.”

Yes. Some clients hire us to handle everything from concept through delivery, while others bring us in as a production partner alongside their internal marketing or communications teams. Either way, we add value and capacity to your existing team.
Yes. Many clients combine photo and video coverage into a single production, creating a more efficient process and a larger library of content from the same shoot. Looking for simply photography – visit this page.
That's completely normal. Most clients come to us with a goal, not a shot list. We'll help you determine the right story, format, length and distribution strategy before production begins.
