Flow Video is seeking an NYC-based live-stream operator with extensive experience in using VMix to produce high-quality live event broadcasts. This operator will prepare and lead our company’s NYC-based live streams, including from houses of worship, educational conferences, non-profit galas/fundraisers, and other large and small-scale virtual and hybrid events. The ideal candidate will be time-flexible and willing to work weekends – e.g. Fri evenings, Sat mornings.

Location: New York City area

• Expertise in vMix live video streaming software
• Expertise in live audio mixing (specifically for stream audio)
• Up-to-date with live video and social media trends.
• Working knowledge of gear used for live streaming (cameras, switchers, mixers, encoders, mics, etc)
• Must be able to provide transportation for oneself to client film sets
• Proficiency in Google Drive and either Microsoft Office Suite or Mac productivity apps (Pages, Keynote, Numbers).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Confidence to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment.

• Potential for regular, weekly hours.
• Work with clients to concept and plan live virtual events.
• Set up scenes for live-streaming and/or conventional recording
• Switchboard live virtual events with multiple incoming streams
• Prepare and execute contingency plans in case of interruptions
• Layer graphics, animations, and copy onto live video streams.
• Assist on video shoots and in areas of production (ie. audio, filming, lighting) when necessary.
• Fill in where & when necessary to accomplish stated objectives.

• Mastery in Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Mastery in Adobe After Effects and/or Photoshop.
• Expertise in lighting design
• Expertise in narrative and high-end storytelling.

• Hourly (1099) pay ranging from $30-$55/hr, based on experience
